Hey There! I’m Ivy!
I started Beautifully Simply You to be completely vulnerable and transparent in the telling of my story of what I have gone through and how I have grown to love myself and become beautifully, simply me, so that I can help others who struggle like me every day with their self-confidence, self-esteem, self-worth and overall happiness. For too long, I was ashamed to speak up about my mental health issues, and I hope together, we can create a platform where we can normalize the face of mental illness by telling our stories and supporting one another in our unique journeys to be beautifully, simply, who we are.
A Little Bit About Me:
I grew up in Massachusetts and currently still live here in Boston. I completed my undergrad in Psychology from University of New Haven in 2015 and completed my Masters in Public Health at Boston University in 2017. I ran track as a sprinter for 14 years of my life (from age 8 to 22). I ran the beast of the 400 meter sprint as well as the 4×400, and occasionally the 200 meter sprint. I am lucky enough to have been named NE-10 Woman of the Year and was a top 30 finalist for NCAA Woman of the Year. I currently work in healthcare and I love working out, running by the beach, writing, reading, cooking and eating good food, hanging with friends and family and helping others. Anything else you would like to know, message me in the contact tab, I would LOVE to get to know you more! 🙂
