You Are A Beautiful Work In Progress

We are all a work in progress. No one has it figured out, everyone is constantly learning and growing and changing.

It’s really easy to beat ourselves up for being a work in progress and for not having it all together. But how beautiful is it to realize that you don’t have to be in this space of self criticizing forever? You can find your voice, you can take back your life, you can begin today.

With every new day, you have the opportunity to learn something new about yourself and about the world around you. What you learn allows you to reflect and grow and challenge yourself. I think that is incredible. I used to resist change, I was so terrified of anything changing in my life, all the way down to the way my mom had the furniture in the house! But I have come to embrace change more, I have come to embrace the changes that help me to work on myself and do better.

We will never be perfect, and being perfect is lame anyway, being who you are is so much better. We will never be perfect and we will always be changing, making mistakes, growing and learning. But that is the beauty of life. Being able to make mistakes and continue moving forward and learning from those mistakes to only do better the next time is the beauty of life.

Ask yourself, what lesson and beauty can I find within today? How can I see that change can create growth within me and that changing does not make me a failure, but that is shows strength and adaptation.

You may be a work in progress, but what a beautiful work in progress you are. You will get to where you want to be, and on that journey you will learn and grow and adapt and you will look back and be so very proud of yourself that you kept going and kept learning and will do so every step of the way in the future.

You are incredible. Never forget that.

Xo,

Be Beautifully Simply You
